THE AH GONG AND AH MA'S STORY

AH Ma: Excuse me! Where is the food for my husband?
Waitress K : It's on the grill madam
AH Ma: OH MY GOD! HE IS HUNGRY (points to the husband)

AH Ma: Who's the owner of this restuarant?
Waitress L : Madam we have 3 bosses (was about to name...)
AH Ma: Japaneses?
Waitress L : No Madam, Singaporeans.
AH Ma: WAD!(Took super big efforts and Stood up walked over to the lunch menu) *pointing pointing fingers in the air* If I were to go! I'd have gone to Japanese Resturants owned by Japanese!! They are FAST! They won't make us wait! He (ah gong) has to wait for his FOOD!
AH Ma: What you have for your lunch sets?
Waitress L *showed her the lunch set menu* started explaining
AH Ma: NO NO NO NO NO NO NO!!!!!
AH Ma: *pointed to Mixed kushiyaki set* The Lunch sets u only have this!?
Waitress L: ohh nono madam, all these on the menu are set lunches..
AH Ma: *very impatiently* I KNOW I KNOW I KNOW!!!!! I'M saying He is getting this set! and it's taking a LONG TIME!!! I wouldn't have come here!
Waitress L *turns and saw Ah gong happily gobbling*: yes madam so sorry...
AH Ma: Japanese wouldn't be like THAT..
Waitress L: .............................

NO NIGHTMARE TONIGHT!

Work was fun. The company was awesome! We had sumptuous lunch; Dimsum, Cha Kway Teow, Beef HorFun, Korean Mixed Rice, Fried Dumplings, Coke~~~ Yummiee.. Customers today were nice too! Hence overall it was a happy day at work! Though I didn't get to go singing with them but o wells, I'll get my chance the next time round.. =))

Working full shift again tomorrow, still the gang would be around to perk my day =))

Oh Before I forgot! New year visiting to Joash's house was really fantastic! Chris had this utterly novel idea of giving 2 bottles of orange juice instead of mandarin oranges.. Hmmm... The food we had was reallY GOOD! Especially this crispy stuff Kuey Paitu (pardon the spelling) and the glutenous rice dessert in coconut topped with Haagen Dazs Icecream. Jamming after dinner was fun but would be better next year! =)

Senario: Waitress Y was half leaning on the wall (after standing for 8 whole hours) when the worst nightmare came into the workplace...

Nightmare (STARES) though Waitress Y could barely see the stare: WHAT DO U THINK YOU ARE DOING?

Waitress Y : I.....

NIGHTMARE: I've SELF PROCLAIMED CUSTOMERS who came to me and told me that my SERVICE STAFF are NIBLING NAILS AND LOOK VERY SLEEPY! *oinks* CAN U START DOING YOUR JOB PROPERLY?! I TOTALLY BLAME YOU FOR MY BAD BUISNESS!*roars*

Waitress Y : But I wasn't nibbling my nails!!

NIGHTMARE : I CLAIM THAT YOU DID!

Waitress Y : okie loh............. BUT I WASN't sleepy!!

NIGHTMARE : I CLAIM THAT YOU ARE! (duhh who isn't after working long hours?) go wash your face NOW and start working properly!

Waitress Y : I have been working properly! I only leaned on the wall for support after such long hours of standing!

NIGHTMARE : I CLAIM U ARE NOT DOING YOUR WORK PROPERLY! And OF COURSE I WON'T KNOW how it's like to be tired from standing. I DO NOT STAND FOR SUCH LONG HOURS! SO WHY ARE U TELLING ME THINGS THAT I WILL NEVER COMPREHEND? CUT CRAP AND PUT ON A SMILE! DON'T EVEN LET THE CUSTOMERS KNOW YOU WERE SCOLDED! DO U COMPREHEND?!

Waitress Y : .....

NIGHTMARE : SO STOP LEANING ON THE WALL LIKE YOU'VE NO BACKBONE! STOP LOOKING SLEEPY EVEN IF YOU ARE!
(storms out)

New Year again like any other years is boring... Still it's a good rest for me from Shin Kushiya.. 4 days of rest, makes me reluctant to go back to work. Heard it has been really crowded the few days before, and it tires ppl working alot.. hope today would be mediocre.. Don't really want to peeve myself off working today.

Working is a dread! Even with the whole bunch of friends there, some people are out to make your working life a misery. true misery. He makes you feel like throwing sushi at his face, smashing sake glasses on his head and scolding him baka throughout the day.. he's the ultimate nightmare at work..

I may have to face him later (most probably i would) =((

It has been one week since returning from hongkong.. i still miss the late night shoppings and the MTR rides, the bargaining, the offers, the weather (minus the dry and polluted air), Hintak, Hintak's mum, MTV channel, counting cash balance every night. But! definitely not missing the times when I had to worry about whereabouts of passports, time of airflights, if wallets are stolen...
My Top 5 shopping paradisee
1) MONGKOK
superbly cheap n trendy accessories and clothes. 女人街, 西洋菜街, 花园街, 通菜街.. MongKok Shopping Centre was also uberly cool.
2) DIAMOND HILL SHOPPING CENTRE
Branded goods which are always on sales..
3) CityGate Shopping Centre
Factory outlets of stores like Nike, Addidas, Quicksilver, Bodyshop.... are found here and goods are at discounted price. GoodBuy!
4) Tsim Sha Tsui
Granvillie Road, Cameron Road, Temple street..
5) Causeway Bay
More of a high-end shopping area

Other then shopping sightseeing was not bad too.. Ocean park was pretty of a bore. Disneyland was magical and magnificent though a little too small and queues were long. Ngong Ping 360 was my fav, the "cheap thrill cable car" that we took and the view was serene and comfy.

I like hongkong.. Hoping I'll go there again this July, this time round bringing ppl like Ian Chong who goes there to carry our shopping bags.. Thanx Ian!!

I am back.. Shopping SHopping and Shopping~

For the 1st time of my life I DREADED SHOPPING! Buying was fun but carrying the bags of clothes, bags, blah blah was really tiring.. Tired tired tired. We actually shopped till 1.30 am each day, how fun is that! wake up at 9 the nxt day and continue our sightseeing.. sighh Hongkong is beautiful, weather is cool but air is polluted and dry.

I'm too tired to describe the trip now.. another time!!

I love that place though.. esp mongkok. it's really a shopping paradise!!! I wanna go back againnn!

The plane trip back was good, we took the new model of airplane Singapore airline came up with, larger screen, more spacious, better facilities. mmm I love.
